Al Jazeera and The Guardian released a cache of intelligence information on Monday, a great deal of which come from a South African intelligence leak that shed light on the workings of several major international spy agencies — including those of the United States, United Kingdom and Israel.
The leaks are a series of communications between South Africa's intelligence agency and its counterparts worldwide that was leaked to Al Jazeera's Investigative Unit and confirmed as authentic by The Guardian. Both media companies have started issuing reports on the information.
